THE FINAL STRETCH IS ALWAYS THE HARDEST

Like I told you, Felicia starts her new job at CIGNA on August 2. That is exactly one week from today. Sadly, all of our economic troubles, debts and other shit finally hit the fan and it will continue to for the rest of the next three weeks until she gets paid. We're soooooo fucking deep in shit! Today, despite our running around and me being late 4 and a half hours to work we were unable to meet a deadline. I have to do the same all over again but to be honest with you, hope has died and the outcome is looking very dim. I know that soon things will be much, much better... but the next couple of weeks are going to be the hardest to overcome because we've streched out luck to its breaking point.

Serg, my mom, Ricky and Gene finally closed down on the house and started to move this weekend. Well, since I wasn't 100% sure we were moving this weekend when they called me I had already made all these plans for the weekend. Most of the had to be cancelled because of the move. Anyway, I have a terrible back problem and the two days of moving didn't do much to help. By the end of Sunday I was lightheaded, nauseous and in extreme back pain. I could barely move from all the heavy shit we'd been carrying all weekend long. Thanks to the move I missed the second softball game as well. From what James told me, we lost again... lol. We suck. So far, I've not gotten to play at all in the team. Hopefully I will get to next game.

Ok, I'll stop right here but my post is not complete cuz I have to talk to Serg about something... hehe

WE NEED A BABYSITTER

Felicia starts her new job at CIGNA on August 2nd. Our main problem right now is that her grandmother fell through with the babysitting gig and now we're babysitter-less. Felicia doesn't really want to ask my mom cuz Fabianna alone more than a few hours at a time exhausts her. So we're not about to dump both girls on her for 7 hours a day. So, as it stands, we're in dire need of a babysitter. The problem is that with all the shit we've seen and heard about babysitters neglecting or physically abusing children we cannot just leave them with anybody. The problem is that if anybody touches my child I will lose it... Wolverine's berserker attack will be a mouse's fart compared to my wrath if anybody touches my kids in a malicious or forceful way. I don't even let my mom or in-laws talk harshly to her. Call it what you want, over protective parent or whatever... I don't like it when my daughters cry so I try to avoid them doing so almost by any means. If anyone ignites this type of rage in me we will not call the cops, a lawyer or social services... I will tear that person limb by limb with my bare hands, then we call the cops. Aren't I just a big fucking ray of sunshine?

Anyway, but alas, we have to find somebody. Felicia has been checking out day care centers and they run from $100-$250 per head depending on the side of town of course. We've really kinda decided that we don't wanna do the day care center thing. If we're gonna have a babysitter we'd rather go for one of those almost live in nannies type deal. Someone that can come to our house everyday and take care of them. We don't want to change babysitter too often because we want the girls to get used to that person and hopefully that person will develop some type of personal affection towards the girls and make us feel more at ease.

All my life me and my brother have had some sort of nanny/maid. We were never mistreated or abused (unless we blocked that part of our lives out) because the nannies that took care of us did it for years at a time. We developed a certain affinity and loyalty to them as almost another parent. They also took care of us and when we were sad or hurt they took care of us as they would their own children. So, this is sorta what I am looking for my own daughters. Then again, that was in Mexico and I don't know if people here in the states have the same way of dealing with other people's children... hehe.

Serg and my moms finally closed on their new house. They're going to start moving in over the weekend. Of course, they volunteered me to help move but it's ok cuz at least it will give us something to do together. It's nice house, although I'm not too kosher with the neighborhood but that's not my decision. Me and Felicia plan to move out of Sabal Point when our lease is up on September. Sadly though, right now we cannot afford to buy a house so we're trying to either move to Coffey Creek, rent a house or a condo. I would really like to rent a house so the girls have a yard to play in. Well, I'm just ranting now...

I didn't do the Wednesday Whatevers yesterday so here they are.

1. Would you prefer a doctor of the same or opposite gender?
Of the opposite sex, I've always felt more comfortable opening up to a female than a guy.

2. When you are done, do you prefer the toilet seat up or down?
This is the dumbest question ever... doesn't matter... I guess Felicia would want the to always put it down... I don't even know for sure if I leave it up or down!

3. If you had an extra hour in each day, what would you do with it?
watch TV, I have a dull life

THINGS SEEM TO BE LOOKING BETTER

Ok, my mom's birthday was last Friday and to celebrate we had a huge Mexican style cookout (fajitas, grilled chicken, charro beans, glazed onions, guacamole, etc.). My aunts were there and my uncle Eleazar was assigned to audit a Columbia plant from Texas this weekend and he drove to Charlotte for the cookout. Patricia and her family came (Serg's friends) and Ryan and Jessica came as well. All in all it was a good night. We ate, partied, drank and had a good time. I got soooo fucking drunk it wasn't even funny.... lol. My uncle left the following day and my aunts returned to Brownsville on Sunday.

Felicia got the CIGNA job!!!! that was a really nice and very welcomed surprise. She starts on August 2 and will be in training for 2 and a half months. Jessica works at the same place so thankfully she will know somebody going in. That's funny.... Ryan and I work together, our wives work together, we're both in interracial marriages, both of our wives have unorthodox religions and neither one of us is Christian. LOL.... that's tooooo close to comfort!

Hopefully this will be the dawn of a new stage in our lives. I am sooo fucking tired of being constantly broke, living from paycheck to paycheck and that not even being enough. Owing everywhere and only having the bare minimum of anything. I come from a third world fucking country and I didn't come here to live the same way I lived my childhood... and I will be damned if Fabi and Carrot live the same way (although we did have an Atari 2600 and that alone made up for the fact that we were broke when I was growing up... hehe). Felicia and I can't wait until we get out of debt so we can start enjoying our marriage, our daughters, our lives and our friends... We feel relieved and as things start to get better I know I will feel better about myself and my outlook towards life itself.

On Sunday I arrived about 30 minutes late to my softball game so I didn't get to play. It sucked too cuz I really wanted to play. Anyway, we played against HomeBanc. and we got our asses like we were T-ballers. ALl their guys looked like they played baseball or softball in college... even their girl players looked like they've been playing for a while. All their player had their team's Jersey, our team only three people were wearing one and the rest of us haven't received one. They were also wearing like baseball shoes, socks, guards and all types of other shit... we just had tennis shoes, shorts and gloves... LOL... it was like the poor team from the ghetto against the rich team from the hills. The final score was HomeBanc 15, Whistleblowers 5! The game lasted about an hour and 45 minutes and it has completely different rules. For example, if you get a foul ball it counts as two strikes and you have to tag before running bases or some shit. It was still fun to watch... I just wished I could have played too.

Last night I bought a copy of a movie called "Bravo". I only bought it cuz it stars Carlos Gallardo. In case you don't appreciate good cinema, that's the guy who played in El Mariachi. This movie apparently tries to cash in on El Mariachi's success but let me tell you my friend, IT SUCKS ASS!.

Anyway, the movie looks like a breed between a Mexican telenovela and a really cheesy Lorenzo Lamas type B movie. The movie takes place in Mexico yet every speaks, poorly and with the worst accent possible I might add, English. Even the president when he goes on national Mexican television to give his speech he speaks poor, heavily accentuated English. Anyway, I don't feel like writing a whole review of this crap.... so my advise to you is. DON'T WATCH IT!

Oh, and this is for no other reason but because I can't get enough of this picture.

30 MOST BEAUTIFLY FASCINATING WOMEN (for me)

Ok, so I enjoyed making the top 20 coolest characters in movies list so much that I wanted to do more. Of course, as in every list ever made, these are based on my likings and dislikes... hence, I didn't want to name it the 30 most "beautiful" women.
